Our Installation Process

Every project starts with an estimate. Since we have been doing this for so long, an estimate sometimes is as easy as telling us the square footage and the basics of what is needed for your project. Then we can give you an accurate idea of what we can get the job done for.

Next we will stop by for an initial inspection to ensure that we can bring along the right equipment and materials to complete the job. This will also be the first in person meeting before we show up at the scheduled date to begin the project.

Once we have all of our materials ready, we make a plan for where to start, and we begin hanging the sheets on the ceiling, followed by the walls. Once the sheets are installed, we need to tape and seal the corners and seams of the sheets.

Applying the tape and mud will require 3 coats of drywall compound to ensure that the walls are as smooth as possible and ready for painting. It usually takes 24 hours between coats of compound, so it is a multi day process of finishing off the project. After 3 coats of mud, we will sand the entire area down and have it ready for priming.

We are able to apply the priming coat as well as the paint if you don't have contractors lined up to complete this part of the process.
